Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-assisted development tooling and intelligent data quality systems
• Implement AI-augmented data cataloguing and automated pipeline debugging
• Own Snowflake data warehouse design, schema optimization, and cost management
• Design and maintain production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt and Hevo
• Build reverse ETL workflows to activate data into operational tools
• Maintain and enhance the BI layer using Metabase
• Collaborate with Product and Analytics teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience building production-grade data pipelines and warehouses
• Strong experience with the modern data stack: Snowflake, dbt, and Hevo or Airbyte
• Advanced SQL proficiency including CTEs and window functions
• Experience with Snowflake-native features like Task DAGs and Cortex AI
• Experience building or integrating AI/LLM tooling into engineering workflows
• Experience with user-facing BI tools like Metabase or Looker

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with vector databases, embedding pipelines, or RAG infrastructure
• Exposure to MLOps or AI infrastructure patterns such as model serving or feature stores
• Experience working in agile, ticket-based workflows using Jira
