Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise-scale Lakehouse and Data Warehouse architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and AWS.
• Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and near real-time data processing.
• Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and scalable data models.
• Build ingestion frameworks to integrate data from APIs, databases, and third-party platforms like Google Analytics and Meta Ads.
• Establish data governance frameworks, including role-based access control (RBAC) and data quality monitoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and deliver reporting solutions via Power BI.
• Build AI-ready data platforms supporting machine learning, RAG architectures, and vector-based data structures.
• Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers and establish engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Analytics.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric implementations (Data Factory, OneLake, Notebooks, etc.).
• Extensive experience building large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and dimensional modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate.
• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure SQL Database.
• Experience designing data architectures for Large Language Models (LLMs).
