Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain optimized, highly available data pipelines to facilitate deep analysis and reporting
• Develop and implement data models and data marts for enterprise data lakes and warehouses
• Write effective and scalable ETL processes for business data collection and processing
• Design and customize reports and monitor data quality within pipelines
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish engineering best practices
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including daily standups, demos, and sprint planning
• Provide mentoring and technical training for junior team members

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Analysis
• Strong expertise in SQL, ETL processes, and data transformation solutions
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data relationship analysis for large-scale applications
• Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, XP, or Kanban)
• Intermediate level of English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Familiarity with BI and reporting tools like Tableau
• Experience with data streaming and replication
• Proficiency using AI coding assistants and chat tools for research and debugging
