Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and mature data integration, consolidation, and MDM integration patterns
• Design, build, and optimize Snowflake data models and high-volume pipelines
• Partner with MDM and Product teams to support HCO Master data ingestion and publishing
• Use dbt or similar ELT tooling to develop reliable and testable data pipelines
• Drive Snowflake performance tuning, warehouse sizing, and cost optimization
• Develop Python-based automation for API integration and metadata management
• Spearhead logical and physical data modeling for enterprise and AI-ready datasets

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and performance tuning
• Proficiency with ETL/ELT tools, specifically dbt
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL-style development skills
• Python experience for data automation and API integration
• Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts like golden records and survivorship
• Experience designing enterprise data models and semantic layers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Reltio MDM and its APIs
• Background in life sciences, healthcare, or pharma commercialization
• Knowledge of life sciences datasets (NPI, DEA, 340B/PHS, etc.)
• Experience with orchestration frameworks like Airflow or Dagster
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and Terraform
• Snowflake SnowPro or dbt certifications
