Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with data teams to ensure accurate data flow from creation to presentation layers
• Improve the Data Engineering stack through containerization, data modeling, and ETL pipeline development
• Design, build, and maintain an analytics data warehouse to support reporting, analytics, and machine learning
• Translate stakeholder needs and expectations into actionable technical deliverables
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability and smooth operations

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional industry experience in data engineering
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, DevOps practices, and database management
• Proven experience delivering data products from conception to delivery
• Expertise in modeling data sets for various sources and business processes
• Familiarity with modern data stacks including Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Kafka, Airflow, dbt, or cloud technologies (AWS/GCP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spark or Databricks
• Experience with CI/CD technologies such as CircleCI
