Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and scale the foundational data layer for high-impact personalization and segmentation
• Integrate diverse data sources into a unified customer view for AI/ML modeling and real-time marketing
• Optimize Databricks-based infrastructure to power personalized customer journeys
• Manage end-to-end data pipeline processes including architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations
• Collaborate within cross-functional agile teams including Product Owners, Engineers, and Analysts
• Apply DevOps practices, pair programming, and cutting-edge methodologies

Requirements

• Strong background in data engineering with clean, maintainable Python code
• Proficiency with cloud platforms and technologies like PySpark and Kubernetes
• Experience designing scalable data models and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and object stores (AWS S3)
• Track record of building and optimizing efficient, reliable data pipelines
• Basic understanding of Backend Development
• Commitment to data quality, monitoring, and high testing standards
• Experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) as thought partners
• Comfort working in agile environments with continuous delivery
