Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, efficient data architecture and data strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Architect and implement complex data pipelines for both real-time and batch processing.
• Optimize data flows for high-volume, high-velocity data environments and develop advanced ETL processes.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies, quality frameworks, and monitoring systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze and optimize system performance for large-scale data operations and troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical guidance to drive data literacy across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in software application development and maintenance, OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of experience in software application development and maintenance.
• Expert-level experience with Big Data technologies including Snowflake, Hadoop, and Spark.
• Proven experience with ETL processes and tools such as IICS, DataStage, SSIS, or Airflow.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of data modeling and architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced experience in Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) and data science integration.
• Proficiency with data streaming and real-time processing technologies.
• Experience with BI and Data analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or BusinessObjects.
