Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support modern data platforms leveraging Databricks and lakehouse architectures
• Collaborate with Architecture to develop and prioritize the Databricks-based platform roadmap
• Integrate services such as Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Delta Live Tables (DLT) into the platform ecosystem
• Automate data ingestion using Autoloader and optimize streaming with Structured Streaming
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Terraform-based infrastructure automation
• Provide operational support for Databricks clusters, jobs, and pipelines, including incident impact analysis
• Drive adoption of best practices for DataOps and cloud-native data engineering within Agile environments

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Data or Platform Engineering
• Proven expertise in Databricks and modern data lakehouse architectures
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field
• Proficiency in PySpark, Structured Streaming, Autoloader, and DQX
• Strong experience with CI/CD, Terraform, DevOps, and DataOps practices
• Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
• Experience working with public cloud platforms and big data technologies
