Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize large-scale data solutions and petabyte-scale pipelines to power digital marketing strategies
• Collaborate with global engineering and delivery teams to implement solutions that drive measurable business results
• Mentor junior engineers and influence technical architecture and solution design
• Propose and implement innovative frameworks, best practices, and data governance standards
• Develop expertise in data engineering using Spark, Databricks, Airflow, and cloud resources

Requirements

• 5–8 years of data engineering experience with strong ETL/ELT design and optimization skills
• Expertise in big data processing using Apache Spark (preferably Databricks), SQL, and Python
• Experience building scalable pipelines and working with large datasets (terabytes to petabytes)
• Proficiency with workflow orchestration tools, preferably Airflow
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, SparkSQL, Hive, or AWS Glue
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Git workflows, and test-driven development
• Strong communication skills with experience working in global, cross-cultural teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
• Familiarity with digital marketing technologies and consumer data ecosystems
