Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines
• Own end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, storage, and retrieval processes
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of the enterprise data platform
• Implement data quality checks, validation, and monitoring mechanisms
• Optimize data structures and models to support analytics and reporting workloads
• Contribute to the design and evolution of the organization’s data architecture
• Define and enforce data engineering standards, patterns, and best practices
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of the data platform
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade data lake platforms
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Oracle OCI or equivalent cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and quality management

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud or data engineering certifications
