Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead consulting efforts and provide high-level technical services to clients, including platform configuration and project oversight
• Design, develop, test, and deploy efficient SQL code to support SDTM, custom reports, and visualizations
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to team members and users
• Manage multiple timelines and deliverables for clients and handle communications
• Debug ETL or analytical issues by referring to source data
• Facilitate client onboarding workshops and conduct training sessions on the Elluminate platform
• Create and maintain required specifications and quality control documents per SOP

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in a Services or Consulting role
• 5+ years of experience in database design and development
• Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, R, Python, or SAS
• Experience with multiple database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or DB2
• Experience with data reporting tools like Qlik, Tableau, or Spotfire
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science, technical, or business discipline
• Knowledge of clinical trial data standards (CDISC ODM, SDTM, or ADAM)
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Life Science industry
• Experience with data capturing tools like Rave, Veeva, or InForm
• Understanding of Cloud/Hybrid data architecture concepts
• Experience in regulatory computer systems validation
