Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core components of data pipelines and services using Go and Scala, focusing on scalability and performance.
• Partner with engineers, analysts, and product stakeholders to design solutions for strategic initiatives and agentic AI architectures.
• Contribute to the evolution of data platform architecture, improving reliability, observability, and data correctness.
• Build and curate high-quality, well-modeled datasets to power internal products, predictive analytics, and LLM-enabled features.
• Collaborate with global data engineering teams to improve data ingestion, quality, and governance across the ecosystem.
• Lead through design reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to raise technical and AI implementation standards.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or software engineering, building production data systems.
• Strong programming expertise in Go, Python, or JVM-based languages.
• Deep knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with data modeling.
• Experience working with relational, analytical, or vector databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, ClickHouse).
• Proven ability to build scalable, reliable, and observable data pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with container-based deployments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of foundational Large Language Model (LLM) orchestration frameworks.
