Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and operate data ingestion and transformation pipelines for legal/regulatory content
• Normalize and transform heterogeneous source formats using tools such as XSLT
• Implement pipelines for embeddings generation, indexing, and enrichment for downstream AI/RAG systems
• Design and manage RDF-based knowledge representations and SPARQL-accessible datasets
• Integrate storage and processing components across containerized/cloud environments
• Support event-driven or integration-heavy workflows via Apache Camel or message brokers
• Ensure reproducibility, maintainability, and operational handover of data pipelines

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong expertise in Python, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency with Knowledge Graphs (RDF) and SPARQL
• Experience with XSLT and Java
• Hands-on with embeddings pipelines and vector preparation
• Experience with Azure Storage or equivalent cloud storage services
• Proficiency with Apache Camel and Git
• BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docling or similar document conversion tools
• Knowledge of CloudEvents and Kafka
• Experience with event-driven architecture and GitOps
• Familiarity with EU regulation, privacy, ESG, and compliance frameworks
