Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Databricks
• Refactor legacy code to simplify maintenance, updates, and reuse
• Design and build modular, reusable code components
• Consolidate key KPIs, metrics, and attributes into standardized data structures
• Build and maintain scalable data models for journey analytics
• Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across pipelines
• Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to improve architecture

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong experience with GitHub and version control
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
• Proficiency in SQL and large-scale data processing
• Experience refactoring and maintaining legacy codebases
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark preferred)
• Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
• Expertise in data modeling and reusable component design
