Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and lead the implementation of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation frameworks
• Build and optimize cloud-based analytics solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Spark, and ADLS Gen2
• Lead the ingestion and processing of structured and semi-structured data from various sources including APIs and databases
• Design and maintain analytics-ready datasets, curated data layers, and enterprise-scale data models
• Drive performance optimization across Spark and SQL workloads and resolve complex production incidents
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and BI developers to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, and the promotion of engineering best practices
• Work within Agile and DevOps-based delivery processes, including Git version control and CI/CD workflows

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Analytics
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with large-scale relational and analytical data platforms
• Hands-on experience with Azure-based technologies: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Spark/PySpark, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)
• Proficiency with Power BI and Git version control
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and modern data platform architectures
• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring other engineers
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps/CI/CD practices
• Fluent English communication skills
