Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and centralized data platforms
• Integrate and transform data from multiple internal and external sources
• Ensure data quality through rigorous validation, monitoring, and best practices
• Provide clean, ready-to-use data for analytics, modeling, and business decision-making
• Automate data processing and delivery processes to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and IT teams to align solutions with business goals
• Support data governance, security, and compliance requirements
• Mentor junior data engineers and lead technical initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with databases and big data tools such as Spark and Hadoop
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Good communication skills and the ability to mentor junior team members
