Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing solutions within the Data Platform
- Implement batch and streaming data pipelines
- Utilize technologies such as BigQuery, BigTable, Apache Kafka, and Apache Spark
- Collaborate closely with development and production teams
- Ensure the quality, performance, and robustness of deployed solutions
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science or equivalent
- 6 to 7 years of confirmed experience in Scala/Java and Data Engineering
- Proficiency in Scala and/or Java
- Experience with functional programming
- Expertise in Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Apache Spark
- Advanced SQL and BigQuery skills
- Experience with GCP or AWS (Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataproc, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of CI/CD (GitLab CI/CD, Docker Compose)
- Familiarity with Linux command line and microservices architecture
- Experience with unit/integration testing and Spring Boot
- Proficiency in DevOps and Agile Scrum methodologies
