About the role
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and drive the transition to the new Data Platform using Dagster, dbt, AWS ECS, and GCP GBQ
- Develop custom tooling, monitoring, data-checks, connectors, and CI/CD for other data teams
- Maintain and optimize high-volume Core-ELT pipelines moving terabytes of data from MySQL to GBQ
- Take responsibility for critical reports used for executive board decisions
Requirements
- Substantial hands-on experience in Data Engineering and Software Engineering
- Experience with high-volume, business-critical pipelines
- Deep practical experience with Dagster, dbt, Google BigQuery, and AWS ECS
- Expert-level SQL and Python skills
- Knowledge of infrastructure setups including Docker and Terraform or CloudFormation
- Strong software engineering fundamentals (CI/CD, testing, design patterns)
- Business fluent English
