Senior Data Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead business value conversations with senior stakeholders to connect data initiatives to measurable outcomes
• Own the data solution design process from requirement gathering to pragmatic architectures and roadmaps
• Act as a trusted advisor and senior point of contact for client engagements
• Provide architectural direction across cloud data platforms, infrastructure, and AI capabilities
• Architect and advise on AI and GenAI solutions including RAG and LLM-powered applications
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure architectures
• Mentor consultants and engineers to connect technical work to business impact

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data consulting, or solution delivery
• Proven record of leading client-facing advisory roles and translating commercial objectives into data strategies
• High proficiency in SQL and strong data modelling skills
• Hands-on experience architecting on Azure and/or AWS
• Working command of AI and GenAI in an enterprise context (LLMs, RAG, ML pipelines)
• Experience with data lakehouse architecture and data governance
• Ability to lead workshops and discovery sessions to build consensus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BI and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Familiarity with Snowflake or Databricks
• Experience with ETL tools such as dbt, Matillion, Informatica, or Fivetran
• Cloud certifications in Azure or AWS
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related business discipline
