Senior Data Consultant

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Azure-based data architectures
• Design and implement Modern Data Platforms, including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Streaming solutions
• Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performing data pipelines
• Collaborate with BI, AI, and Application teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Support workshops, assessments, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and presales activities
• Act as a trusted advisor between IT and Business stakeholders
• Mentor junior consultants and support team capability growth

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in Data & Analytics
• Deep expertise in Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Engineering)
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, and Azure SQL Database
• Strong experience in data modeling and ELT/ETL patterns
• Advanced skills in Power BI, including semantic models and dataset optimization
• Fluent Italian language skills
• Proven experience working in complex enterprise environments or consulting/system integrator backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Databricks, Fabric DP-700, or DP-600)
• Knowledge of Data Governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK) and Microsoft Purview
• Understanding of Machine Learning workflows on Azure
• Knowledge of Generative AI concepts, including LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and RAG patterns
