Senior Data Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain data architecture patterns and big data pipelines across AWS and GCP environments.
• Coordinate data integration and ETL processes while supporting data security, integrity, and cost controls.
• Automate data processes utilizing Cloud Composer and develop SQL scripts for data modeling.
• Perform end-to-end pipeline load performance testing and support technology upgrades through PostgreSQL and Cloud SQL migrations.
• Manage SQL and NoSQL database tuning, maintenance, and optimization.
• Utilize Kubernetes for application deployments and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Monitor system observability using Splunk and interact with server-side GitHub REST APIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in data engineering duties.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, Spark, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with both AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with relational database systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform IaC.
• Experience with Splunk for observability.
