Senior Data Base Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines to extract and transform data from various sources
• Build and manage data models and data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics
• Leverage cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to build reliable and efficient data solutions
• Develop and maintain automated data workflows using orchestration tools like Airflow or AWS Glue
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, aggregation, and transformation
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of data models and pipelines
• Monitor system performance to ensure the reliability and scalability of data architectures

Requirements

• Proven experience in data architecture and pipeline development
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Advanced knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing
• Proficiency in SQL for complex data transformations
• Hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory
• Strong Python programming skills for automation and data processing
• Familiarity with GitHub for version control and CI/CD workflows
• Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Experience with real-time data streaming platforms like AWS Kinesis
• Exposure to machine learning and AI data support initiatives
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of data lake architectures and modern data processing frameworks
• Experience using BI tools like Tableau or Power BI
