(Senior) Data Analytics Consultant

Responsibilities

• Support stakeholders in making data-driven decisions across different departments
• Gather requirements and harness large-scale, real-time data from various sources
• Design, develop, and extend data model layers for optimized calculations and visualizations
• Craft maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts
• Prototype and coordinate data visualizations

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an analytical role handling large data volumes
• Proficiency in Python/PySpark and SQL
• Experience with Bash scripting and Git
• Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes
• Ability to translate business needs into technical data models
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read or communicate in French
• Experience with Apache Spark in Databricks
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS)
• Experience with Apache Airflow or DBT
• Familiarity with PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker
• Knowledge of data governance principles
