Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and support of Valiant Business Intelligence (BI) platforms for internal and external use.
• Implement robust, reliable, and custom reporting and visualizations using Power BI.
• Develop and maintain self-service reporting solutions and automated data processes.
• Use SQL for data preparation, including extracting, cleansing, aggregating, and summarizing data.
• Participate in the design and implementation of logical and physical data models.
• Review proposed production changes to ensure high data quality standards and minimal production impact.
• Proactively identify opportunities to solve business problems through models, charts, graphs, and dashboards.
• Maintain and distribute client-facing and internal dashboards tracking multifamily analytics and KPIs.
• Support BI solutions by monitoring and tuning SQL queries and data loads.
• Address user questions regarding data integrity and communicate technical issues proactively.
• Collaborate with senior management and department leaders to define reporting requirements and priorities.
• Coordinate with IT to enhance system automation and visibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or a related field, plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation and preparation.
• Experience with Power BI for creating advanced visualizations and reports.
