Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain advanced analytics systems to simplify complex data problems into actionable insights
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Create comprehensive reports and dashboards using data mining, analysis, and visualization techniques
• Build pipelines for data cleaning and data transformation
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making
• Perform detailed analysis in Excel using formulas, V-lookups, and pivot tables
• Present key insights and findings to multiple teams and stakeholders
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to inform solution development and manage client expectations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, specifically within financial services, banking, or insurance environments
• Proficiency in data profiling and analysis using SQL, Python, or PySpark
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and experience with SSRS
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Demonstrated experience delivering solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to transform raw data into meaningful business insights
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to or interest in Artificial Intelligence
