Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Deliver technology and process improvements by designing, building, and implementing tactical and strategic data solutions
• Scope, design, build, test, and implement solutions using SQL or Python to create new content and distribute data
• Engage with stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations on process and system improvements
• Analyze customer reporting inventory to identify opportunities to consolidate, optimize, or decommission reports
• Drive the development, monitoring, and evaluation of new metrics, KPIs, and dashboards using data discovery techniques
• Build Azure Data services to support development activities, including Azure SQL Server, ADF, and Databricks
• Provide recommendations to the development team regarding query optimization and lead projects as required

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Data Analysis and/or Data Engineering, including data ETL and blending tools
• Solid SQL experience with various database technologies (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2, Teradata)
• Hands-on experience developing data pipelines with a solid understanding of software engineering principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely in writing and orally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines on AWS, Azure, or GCP following cloud deployment best practices
• Experience with data migration projects, DevOps, or Data-DevOps
• Expertise in Query Optimization
• Understanding of system hardening, threat, and vulnerability management
• Proven track record of delivering technology-driven solutions through the full project life cycle
