Senior Data Analyst - Internal Audit

Responsibilities

• Partner with Internal Audit stakeholders, specifically within the IT and Technology domain, to develop and implement analytics strategies.
• Identify and implement impactful analytics opportunities within audits to increase coverage, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business specialists to explore varied datasets and perform modern analytical approaches.
• Champion innovation and data-led insights across all Internal Audit activities.
• Work on automation and tooling projects, including workflow automation, continuous auditing, and building MI dashboards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics.
• 1+ years of data analytics experience within an audit, risk, or compliance-related role.
• Extensive experience using SQL to build and maintain complex data sources.
• Proficiency in Python coding.
• Advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to leverage cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using dbt, Superset, and/or Lightdash.
• Knowledge of ITGCs or IT audit experience.
• Experience working in fintech or the broader financial services industry.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, including GenAI solutions and advanced visualization techniques.
