Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Act as a thought partner to Music and DRM leadership by providing structured thinking and proactive insights
• Build business cases for product investment and contract negotiations using platform data
• Provide data-driven insights regarding music investments and customer segment behavior
• Conduct deep-dives combining internal and external data to explain metric shifts and growth opportunities
• Improve data trustworthiness for agentic analytics by enriching metadata and using AI coding tools
• Maintain analytical rigor and set standards for self-serve analytics and revenue estimates

Requirements

• Senior-level experience driving business impact and shaping leadership decisions
• High agency with strong data storytelling and communication skills
• Sharp analytical instincts and ability to scope vague questions with frameworks
• Strong grasp of statistics and data judgment
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (Hex notebooks)
• Experience with dbt and BigQuery
• Experience with AI coding tools, context engineering, and evals
• Curiosity regarding music platform operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience joining first-party product data with external platform data
• Expertise in data modeling and semantic layers
• Proven track record of building business cases that lead to product investment
