Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Innovate and build well-managed data solutions and capabilities to solve complex business problems
• Use open-source and digital technologies to mine voluminous data from various sources and platforms
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable metrics, tools, and dashboards for data visualization
• Drive business intelligence by providing meaningful insights that influence strategic decision-making
• Ensure adherence to data quality management principles, including metadata, lineage, and business definitions
• Collaborate with technical teams to manage data security mechanisms and access governance
• Build and execute tools to monitor and report on data quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related)
• At least 2 years of experience performing data analytics
• At least 1 year of experience working with a scripting language (e.g., Python, R, Spark, or SQL)
• At least 1 year of experience utilizing business intelligence visualization tools
• At least 1 year of experience querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a STEM discipline
• 2+ years of experience coding in Python, R, Spark, or SQL
• Experience working within Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience utilizing and developing within AWS services
• Experience with Snowflake services
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality management tools (e.g., Informatica DQ)
