Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Innovate and build well-managed data solutions and tools to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable metrics, dashboards, and data visualizations
• Mine complex and voluminous data sources using open-source and digital technologies
• Drive analysis that provides meaningful insights to support business strategies
• Ensure adherence to data quality management principles, including metadata, lineage, and business definitions
• Collaborate with technical teams to manage security mechanisms and data access governance
• Build and execute tools to monitor and report on data quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related)
• At least 2 years of experience performing data analytics
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, R, Spark, or SQL
• Experience utilizing business intelligence visualization tools
• Experience querying, analyzing, and working with various data languages and platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a STEM discipline
• 2+ years of experience coding in Python, R, Spark, or SQL
• Experience working within Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience utilizing and developing within AWS services
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality management concepts (e.g., Informatica DQ)
