Responsibilities

• Build engagement measurement signals including time on page, scroll depth, and click-through
• Develop tag-effectiveness analysis and LLM-based content classification
• Quantify engagement for core subscriber bases and broader public audiences
• Power data-driven coverage prioritization for market-moving stories
• Track competitive coverage, timeliness, and story attribution
• Diagnose metric drivers and build reproducible analysis frameworks
• Author dbt models on BigQuery and own the Omni semantic layer
• Act as an embedded analytical partner to the editorial newsroom

Requirements

• Proven analytics experience in media, B2B SaaS, or fintech
• Expert SQL skills for complex analysis and optimization
• Commercial experience with dbt and cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Experience with modern BI and integrated semantic layers (Omni, Looker, Thoughtspot)
• Proficiency in engagement and event analytics and instrumentation
• Ability to build LLM-based pipelines for content analysis
• Strong communication skills to translate analysis into actionable narratives

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of finance or distressed debt
• Experience with content, web, SEO, or social analytics
• Python for deep data analysis
