Senior Cybersecurity Assessor

Responsibilities

• Plan and scope cybersecurity assessments including system boundaries and controls
• Interpret and apply ITSP.10.171 and related standards to architectures
• Collect and verify evidence through documentation review and technical validation
• Evaluate control effectiveness and identify deficiencies
• Prepare certification and assessment reports with remediation recommendations
• Communicate results to technical teams and senior management
• Conduct follow-up assessments to validate remediation efforts

Requirements

• College or university diploma in cybersecurity, security management, or networking
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT risk management
• Experience with ITSP.10.171, NIST CSF, NIST RMF, and NIST SP 800-53
• Experience with NIST SP 800-171 (CMMC/CPCSC)
• Proven experience conducting technical or compliance-based cybersecurity audits
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret (Level II) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP certification
• CCSP certification
• Lead or Senior Auditor certification
• ISO 2700x or ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification
