Senior Cybersecurity Architect II

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall security architecture strategy and consistent reference architectures across cloud and global data centers.
• Lead Threat Modeling and Risk Assessments for vendor technologies and complex system integrations.
• Serve as a technical security consultant for product development teams to ensure security is integrated into product roadmaps.
• Partner with the Data Governance team to define and implement modern data protection standards.
• Architect the next iteration of Nielsen’s Security Service Edge (SSE), including device posture, access control, and micro-segmentation.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Network Operations, and Cloud Operations teams to prioritize work based on risk profiles.
• Support vendor relationships for cybersecurity technologies and lead root cause investigations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security architecture.
• Demonstrated experience developing architecture roadmaps aligned with enterprise principles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing standards and controls across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Advanced understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) development and secure implementation.
• Exceptional ability to communicate technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Expertise in threat modeling and risk assessment.
