Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity expertise to surface combat system program offices.
• Lead efforts to bring platform information technology systems through the full life cycle of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to achieve and renew Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Develop, coordinate, and review detailed Assessment & Authorization documentation in accordance with DoDI 8510.01.
• Review system scans and tests using SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC) and the Assured Content Assessment Solution (ACAS).
• Coordinate system hardening to ensure compliance with DISA regulations, including STIGs and SRGs.
• Advise customers on secure design and implementation of systems and capabilities.
• Identify security vulnerabilities in software, hardware, and architecture designs and recommend mitigations.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior and mid-level team members.
• Build briefs to convey critical information to decision makers.

Requirements

• 10 years of direct cybersecurity work experience.
• Experience evaluating cyber compliance against RMF and DoD Cybersecurity policies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity Management or an equivalent technical degree.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Deep knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, DoDI 8500.01, and DoDI 8510.01.

Preferred Qualifications

• DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM) III or IAT III Certification.
• Proficiency with eMASS and eMASSter tools.
• Experience working within an acquisition program office environment.
• Familiarity with Navy combat systems such as SSDS and AEGIS.
• Working knowledge of DON, NAVSEA, and PEO IWS cyber regulations.
