Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, assessment, and continuous monitoring of external attack surface including domains, IP space, and cloud assets
• Design and implement security controls across network, cloud, and application layers
• Conduct penetration testing activities and oversee third-party coordination
• Build and mature vulnerability management programs and remediation workflows
• Automate security processes such as vulnerability triage and asset discovery
• Assess risks related to AI-driven threats and implement defensive strategies
• Partner with infrastructure, DevOps, and product teams to align security priorities
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a strong security culture

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• 5–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or architecture
• Expertise in attack surface management and external asset discovery
• Proficiency in penetration testing methodologies and tools
• Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid scripting or programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go
• Strong understanding of networking, systems, and application security principles
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST 800-82, or ISO 27001 frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH, or GIAC
• Experience with AI/ML in defensive or adversarial security contexts
• Familiarity with modern security tooling (EDR/XDR, SIEM, SOAR)
• Experience with commercial OT security tools like Claroty, Nozomi, or Dragos
• Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD security integration
