Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and sustain security requirements for deployed products and services within a custom, air-gapped DoD IT network
• Perform advanced support and direct deployment of new capabilities at a sustained rate
• Create and update system documentation, schematics, and operational guides and procedures
• Interface with multi-discipline teams to define and implement cyber risk posture and mitigation
• Present technical concepts and ideas to a wide range of audiences

Requirements

• Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance with SCI eligibility
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CISSP or Security+)
• Strong background in Systems Administration using Linux and Windows (Windows 11, Server 2022, RHEL)
• Experience with enterprise configuration and patch management tools such as MECM or WSUS
• STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or an Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of Enterprise Identity Management including LDAP (Active Directory) and PKI
• Experience maintaining Windows servers and troubleshooting software applications
• Experience with various computing hardware and software platforms, including servers and workstations
• Understanding of enterprise firewalls and firewall policies/rulesets
• Knowledge of ICAM, enterprise logging ingest, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
