Senior Cyber RF Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop rapid prototype RF solutions using COTS and custom designs
• Develop PCB-based designs and implement FPGA and embedded software for HWIL and surrogate designs
• Integrate processor/microcontroller debuggers and in-circuit probing solutions
• Characterize and debug complex electronic systems using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and VNAs
• Prepare and execute test events for customers and stakeholders
• Lead development of lab-based acquisition and control platforms
• Participate in proposal efforts by providing technical path, BOM, and cost/schedule estimates

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5 years of experience, or MS with 3 years
• Proven expertise in electrical circuit design (RF, analog, or digital)
• Experience leading hardware efforts from concept to implementation
• Strong problem-solving and mentoring skills
• Experience presenting technical material to customers and staff

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance
• Experience in RF design, signal processing for satellite, space, or airborne remote sensing
• Experience integrating software defined radios and RFSOC platforms
• Proficiency with simulation tools like Spice, MATLAB/Simulink, or Microwave Office
• Knowledge of PCB design tools such as Cadence, Altium, or Eagle
• Digital/FPGA HDL experience using Vivado, Quartus, or Simulink/HDL Coder
• Experience with Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu)
