About the role
Responsibilities
- Work with Business Development and Product Management to understand technical customer needs
- Lead technical interchange meetings to develop requirements and suggest product use cases
- Provide functional and system performance education on radios and waveforms to customers
- Lead technical execution of customer contracts and support field requirements during design or testing
- Conduct design, deployment, and testing of candidate systems to validate suitability
- Document and advocate for new product requirements based on customer use cases
- Work cross-functionally to measure, debug, and optimize radio system performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Minimum of four years of multidisciplinary technical experience
- Minimum of two years supporting customers with radio communication products
- Practical experience with military or commercial wireless products (e.g., GSM, LTE, Wi-Fi, SRW, Link-16)
- System design experience across RF, PHY, MAC, Networking, and Application layers
- Proficiency with networking protocols (Layer 2 and Layer 3) and data analysis tools like iPerf and Wireshark
- Experience with lab test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in a related field
- Experience with soldier-based situation awareness software (ATAK, SittaWare, etc.)
- Experience with Unmanned Systems
- Knowledge of embedded system security and industry certifications (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461)
