Senior Cultural Resources Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, staffing, invoicing, and proposal composition
• Oversee multiple archaeological projects to ensure completion on schedule and within budget
• Organize fieldwork mobilization and demobilization
• Provide QA/QC for data collection and client deliverables
• Produce high-quality reports meeting agency and SHPO/THPO standards
• Mentor junior personnel and review their deliverables
• Participate in marketing efforts and business development outreach

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Archaeology or a closely related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with Class III archaeological surveys, monitoring, and testing in the Southwest
• Proven experience with artifact identification, in-field documentation using tablets, and site recording
• Demonstrated understanding of Section 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act
• Must hold or be listed on AAA, BLM, and Region 3 permits as a Field Director or PI
• Ability to travel up to 25% and conduct fieldwork in rugged terrain and inclement weather
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
• Ability to obtain a US Government Clearance
