About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain critical datacenter infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, and controls systems, to ensure operational reliability.
  • Perform various types of maintenance (planned, predictive, and corrective) and repairs for multiple equipment types.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to troubleshoot equipment, systems, and subsystems independently.
  • Respond to and lead onsite incident response teams for abnormal conditions impacting operations.
  • Monitor equipment performance using telemetry, control systems, and other digital platforms.
  • Coordinate with third-party contractors and vendors, ensuring work is performed safely and according to scope.
  • Develop and follow Methods of Procedure (MOPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs).
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced technicians.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in mission-critical services (e.g., data centers, oil and gas, hospitals, or manufacturing).
  • 1+ year of specialized experience in a field such as mechanical, electrical, or controls.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or technical trade certification combined with 7+ years of mission-critical services experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combined with 10+ years of mission-critical services experience.
