Senior Crew Chief

Responsibilities

• Execute daily assigned project tasks and supervise survey crew employees
• Lead and coordinate daily activities of multiple crews on large projects
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Geomatics team members
• Perform construction staking and surveying tasks following company standards
• Maintain survey equipment, work vehicles, and ensure instrument calibrations
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively
• Maintain a safe work environment and participate in safety briefings
• Foster positive client relations and professional communication

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 7 to 10 years of experience as a Crew Chief in a survey related field
• Proficiency with CAD, Carlson Software, TDS Software, and Trimble/Leica Robotics
• Knowledge of GPS equipment and construction staking computations
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours a day in varying outdoor conditions
