Senior Credit Risk Portfolio Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze credit exposure across agent, correspondent, and partner portfolios.
• Analyze portfolio performance trends, including delinquencies, defaults, recoveries, and concentration risk.
• Assess counterparty risk related to banks, payment processors, and financial partners.
• Evaluate settlement risk, liquidity exposure, and payment timing risk across various corridors.
• Conduct credit reviews for new and existing partners and recommend appropriate credit limits.
• Perform stress testing and scenario analysis on portfolio and counterparty exposure.
• Review and update credit risk policies to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare executive-level portfolio summaries and present findings to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, and Operations teams to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of banking industry experience focusing on credit risk, portfolio risk, or counterparty risk.
• Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks, settlement risk, and counterparty exposure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.
• Knowledge of cross-border financial flows and correspondent risk exposure.
