Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform independent assessment of complex corporate, financial institution and commodity trading counterparties
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis including liquidity, leverage, cash flow, and profitability
• Develop credit opinions and recommendations regarding ratings, probability of default, and credit limits
• Maintain oversight of a dedicated credit portfolio and identify emerging risks
• Advise on credit risk mitigation solutions such as bank guarantees, letters of credit, and collateral arrangements
• Perform exposure simulations and expected loss calculations using quantitative methodologies
• Act as a trusted advisor to Front, Middle, and Back Offices
• Identify early warning signals and manage watchlist counterparties

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline
• 5–8 years of experience in corporate credit risk, counterparty risk, or structured finance
• Demonstrated experience assessing large corporates, trading houses, or utilities
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and credit rating methodologies
• Experience with probability of default modelling and stress testing
• Knowledge of credit mitigants and legal documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA, FRM or other relevant professional qualification
• Exposure to energy markets or commodity trading
• Experience with risk systems, data analytics, or BI tools
