About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff arguments
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Manage full case handling responsibilities including discovery and trial
- Communicate routinely with clients
- Cultivate relationships with existing and future clients
- Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys
- Work collaboratively within a team of various experience levels
Requirements
- JD from an ABA approved school
- Active bar license in the State of Georgia
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience
- Proven experience with litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling insurance defense matters
- Experience with time management systems

- Base salary range of $150,000 - $175,000
