Senior Counsel

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes for litigation
• Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Manage full case handling responsibilities including discovery and trial
• Communicate routinely with clients
• Cultivate relationships with existing and future clients
• Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys
• Work collaboratively within a team of various experience levels

Requirements

• JD from an ABA approved school
• Active bar license in the State of New Jersey
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience
• Proven experience with litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation
• Ability to manage all facets of discovery and trial
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Experience with time management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling insurance defense matters
