Senior Counsel

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff arguments
• Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Manage full case handling responsibilities including discovery and trial
• Maintain routine communications with clients
• Cultivate relationships with existing and future clients
• Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys
• Work collaboratively within a multi-level legal team

Requirements

• JD from an ABA approved school
• Active bar license in the State of California
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience
• Proven experience in litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation
• Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience with time management systems
• Proven track record in high-stakes insurance defense matters
