Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal support to business regions or practice groups
• Act as a proactive business partner offering counsel on contracts, compliance, and risk
• Develop and execute legal strategies to protect and advance company operations
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including SaaS, procurement, government, and leasing agreements
• Coordinate resolution of business disputes and manage outside counsel
• Support the Vice President, Associate General Counsel and other attorneys

Requirements

• Law degree and current license (or eligibility) in Illinois, Tennessee, or New York
• 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate law or a transactional law firm practice
• Extensive experience with technology, government, and procurement agreements
• Exceptional transactional and legal writing skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience leveraging AI tools to transform workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in SaaS contracts or commercial leases
• Prior in-house legal experience
