Senior Counsel, Legal & Business Affairs

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements across the ad tech ecosystem, including publisher, DSP, SSP, and advertiser contracts
• Structure master services agreements, data integration arrangements, and vendor agreements
• Advise on data privacy considerations and evolving privacy law landscapes within commercial transactions
• Collaborate with ad sales, product, engineering, and marketing teams to provide actionable business guidance
• Develop scalable, risk-calibrated legal processes
• Utilize AI-powered legal tools and LLMs to accelerate contract review and drafting

Requirements

• Deep experience negotiating supply-side, demand-side, and data licensing agreements
• Solid understanding of digital advertising technology and programmatic ecosystems
• Excellent working knowledge of data privacy and marketing regulations
• Ability to translate legal requirements into actionable business advice
• Proven ability to build relationships in a matrixed, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 5 years of combined transactional legal experience (law firm and in-house)
• Experience with internet, technology, or media companies in the ad tech or data space
• Familiarity with B2B and B2C aspects of digital advertising
• Skills in intellectual property, consumer protection, and audience data management
• J.D. from a U.S. accredited law school
• Active bar membership in New York or California
