About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide practical legal advice on a full range of EMEA employment law issues across the entire employee lifecycle
  • Drive compliance with labor and employment laws, including wage and hour, compensation, benefits, and emerging pay transparency regulations
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement labor and employment compliance initiatives
  • Oversee and direct internal investigations and manage complex employment compliance projects
  • Develop, revise, and implement best-in-class employment policies, procedures, and scalable training solutions
  • Handle litigation and claims, overseeing external counsel and maintaining responsibility for case strategy, budget, and resolution
  • Advise on industrial relations and collective bargaining agreements
  • Support compensation and benefits programs and manage employee relations (ER) issues and pre-dispute conflicts

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Ireland
  • 12+ years of relevant employment law experience throughout the EMEA region
  • Proven experience in risk mitigation across the entire employee lifecycle
  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to influence across all levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical skills with a practical, business-oriented approach to complex legal situations
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in the use of AI tools
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working within a multi-national company
  • Prior experience working in a corporate legal department
  • Experience using Legal Tracker System or comparable e-billing systems
