Senior Costume Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead the Costume Team providing training, performance coaching, and feedback
• Manage daily entertainment costume maintenance, cleaning, and show setting
• Oversee hand and machine sewing, laundry, and dressing tracks
• Maintain gesture recognition and articulated character costumes including cable and battery connections
• Partner with Entertainment Leadership for load ins/outs, new show installs, and equipment tests
• Schedule the Costume Team and lead department meetings

Requirements

• Minimum three years of costuming experience in a theatrical environment
• Proven experience leading a theater technical team
• Knowledge of theatrical costume construction and fabric care
• Experience with theatrical dressing and quick changes
• Familiarity with domestic and industrial sewing machines
• Ability to live and work onboard a vessel
• Valid passport and ability to obtain a C1/D Seaman's visa

• Leadership experience
• Cosmetology knowledge
• Puppet construction or maintenance experience
